I’m in. This is a lame post to start. The government is providing a snapshot of the financial condition of U.S. thrifts in the second quarter, following narrowed losses but a jump in the number of troubled institutions in the January-March period.

The federal Office of Thrift Supervision is scheduled to release the latest quarterly report at 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday.
Amid the soured economy, tumbling home prices and rising loan defaults, thrifts overall lost $47 million in the first quarter. Still, that was their best performance since September 2007, and it compared with losses of $5.4 billion in last year’s fourth quarter and $617 million in the January-March period of 2008.
The number of “problem thrifts” on the agency’s confidential list rose to 31 from 26 in fourth quarter of 2008, and troubled assets made up a bigger chunk of their portfolios.
That was copied from posts. Should have bought these financial thrift stox in the IRA, but threw them in the TAM. Oh well. .175 in. We’ll see where it goes. Just a speculative buy like LEHMQ.pk. I expect a longer double out of these if the press keeps releasing support for the better news.
WOW, what a great messed up day. I bought a bunch of stocks today and sold a bunch. I have 5 more stocks that I’m in now as of market close. I’ll have to spend some time and decipher this mess out. So many stocks, so little time. I’ll try to update these later tonight maybe.
Here is the list of stocks that I pulled from today:
GBOE ETLY BLGME DLAD BONU EWRC CVRG PRMK IDMCQ WAMUQ IRBL OMHI ICBT KKUR
All went green pretty well except for two. I have no idea how much I made today. All were small trades.

I’ve been pretty busy with work, but here’s one I had to blog quick. I bought at .15…got in a bit late. Saw it at .056 but did not buy. I had no idea that they were to be purchased. I just bought it to hold it for a little bit. Its at .28 right now. No idea what its going to bring. Up, down who knows. The move dictated a trade at .056, but I didn’t trade because it had a Q on it which dictates a bankrupt company.
Happy trades my friends!

I missed the initial move from this badboy this morning, so I decided to see when it would tank and take the kneejerk. Boom!!!! dropped from the .40 range to .21. I bought 4 times. I bought at .23, .22, .21,.21. When it hit .21, I knew we were there where it would go up from there, because the investors that were selling scared had ceased and there was that pause that I love to see. I hopped in with little buys of a couple hundred $. I think I ended up with close to $1,000 invested. I walked away because I was that confident it would do the creep up thing and then a jump. I did some errands and let it run until it got to .36. .36 was the number that I calculated in my head that it would retrace to. I sold it then. I’m pretty sure the stock will either go up or down from there. The best part about it is that I don’t care. I made my $500.
I’m out!
How soon til I hit a million?

The title says it all. It felt a little light but I thought it would go anyways. I entered light at .0012 with $300, just for fun. Sold at .003. Not quite a triple, but it will do. Did not use the larger trade because I did not feel that the volume for the stock coming out of the .0000 range was great enough. Good strength through the .001 barrier, good setup, lighter consistant volume. It does not always work, but it is ok in this case.
Here is the hotlist i was working with today.

Remember these guys? Well, they were back today with a vengence. Pretty chart today. Came up on the volatility list early. They came up at .014….. Only got a partial fill at .02….grrrr. Oh well, got in with @$300. Didn’t feel like adding more after it kept going up. It went and it went. I remembered how cheesy of a company it was and sold it at .037. I think it only went to .04, so I guess I did not leave too much on the table that time. Small gains all add to the total TAM picture, so it works for me.
Todays hot ones were ARTI MCET EXBX. I only traded MCET.
Also, have you noticed on my chart that I have slimmed the indicators down even more? I am not using anymore indicators than I need. Mostly just indicators to define volume and relative strength of the move.
Let’s get there together!
